Project Description


  • The 601 bed community is the second phase of MU’s commitment to replace all 2,200 on-campus beds with modern, suite-style units through a sequenced delivery which allows for a consistent on campus capacity to be maintained throughout the replacement.   • At 155,000 sf, the new community consists of two adjacent and connected buildings positioned on the east side of MU’s South Quad and located at the former location of the demolished Hobbs Hall.   • The layout of the new facilities work with the natural grade of the site and front the quad with three stories while the legs of the building extending out from the quad are four stories and form a private courtyard.
