The North Central Florida Apartment Association (NCFAA) awarded Anthem House the Student Community of the Year during the 10th Annual Holiday Party and A.C.E. Awards Event on December 8, 2022. Anthem House is a RISE community located in Gainesville, FL and caters to grad students attending the University of Florida as well as young professionals.
Anthem House’s General Manger, Didier Louis, was present at the event to accept the award along with other members of the Anthem House team including Theodore Marcotte (Maintenance Supervisor), Kerigan Johnson (Leasing Manager), Julius Sanford (Leasing Professional), and Joshua Alexander (Community Assistant.)
Louis shared how the strength of the team enabled Anthem House to live out the RISE attributes, execute the mission, and achieve this goal.
“When Kerigan and I started, right at the beginning of 2022, we knew it would take our all to build a great team and show just how much we can accomplish in a year. By standing by the RISE attributes, we aimed for some lofty goals and achieved them. We hit 100% pre-lease for Fall 2022 while maintaining resident satisfaction and continuing to grow as a team. With Theodore, Deondre, Joshua, and Julius joining as the year went on, our team only got stronger and carried us across the finish line. Tonight is an awesome recognition of this team’s hard work.”
Anthem House was developed by RISE and delivered in 2021 in time for the fall semester lease-up. It is a 185 bed, boutique off-campus student apartment community featuring a mix of one- and two-bedroom units. A suite of modern and easy-access amenities provides an elevated experience for residents who enjoy a resort-style pool, 24-hour fitness center, secure package lockers, and many more apartment and community features.
However, what truly separates Anthem House is not its luxury amenity package, but the management and maintenance teams that continue to elevate the standard and embody what the RISE difference truly means. The team lives out the RISE mission: to improve lives and impact people positively – one person at a time.
Their success in this mission is now catalogued with an Apartment Community Excellence award.
