Austin, Texas — Tuesday evening, April 4, Student Housing Business presented 28 prestigious Innovator Awards to student housing owners, developers, operators, architecture firms and universities for excellence in student housing development, marketing and operations.
More than 200 industry experts judged on more than 150 entries in this year’s contest. The Innovator Awards were presented during the InterFace Student Housing conference at the JW Marriott in Austin, Texas. The RISE team was thrilled to learn that West Campus Housing, at the Appalachian State University P3 development, was awarded the Student Housing Business Innovator Award for Best Public/Private Partnership Development.
RISE delivered over 2,300 beds to the App State campus across three phases as part of a transformative public/private partnership. The final phase delivered a 204K+ SF residence hall on-budget and on-time for the Fall 2022 semester.
