First Residents Begin Move-In at RISE Bartram Park in Jacksonville; New 295-Unit Multifamily Development is a Joint Venture Between RISE: A Real Estate Company and Origin Investments

The first units at RISE Bartram Park have been delivered and residents have begun taking occupancy at the $60 million, 297-unit multifamily development located at 14900 Inspire Way in Jacksonville. The development is a joint venture partnership between RISE, a national multifamily development firm, and Origin Investments, a real estate private equity firm.

RISE Bartram Park represents one of seven communities developed in Jacksonville for RISE, the first for Origin and the first for the RISE-Origin joint venture.

The first phase delivery includes 49 units. Overall, RISE Bartram Park has 297 units distributed between studio, one-bedroom, two-bedroom and three-bedroom apartments. When fully complete in March, the 281,000-square-foot development will consist of seven total buildings with three, four-story apartment buildings including a community clubhouse.

Punctuating the impressive first impression of RISE Bartram Park is a suite of inviting community amenities. Residents have many opportunities to enjoy the Florida weather with two resort-style swimming pools, a bar, cabana, grilling stations, and a sprawling, manicured lawn. Features of the clubhouse, including a test kitchen and fireplace, are designed to foster a sense of camaraderie and community. Additional amenities including a 24-hour fitness center, secure package delivery, pet park and spa, yoga room, and flexible workstations, cater to many diverse lifestyles.

Ashley Browne, RISE Regional Director, said, “Both our first residents and the RISE team have been eagerly awaiting the opening of our new community, RISE Bartram Park. We can’t wait to share the RISE experience and we believe that once people visit the community, they won’t want to call anywhere else home.”

Individual units feature granite countertops in the kitchen and bathroom, walk-in closets, private balconies in select units, and full-size energy-efficient washer/dryers.

Parking is distributed throughout the development as surface parking along with attached garages. In total, the development will offer 443 parking spaces, including 46 in garages.

“We are excited to see the first residents of RISE Bartram Park moving in,” said Ken Lodge, Assistant Vice President, Origin Investments. “Together with RISE, we’ve worked hard to build a first-class project, with the quality amenities being sought by renters, in one of Jacksonville’s most dynamic submarkets.”

RISE Bartram Park is located at the intersection of Racetrack Road and Highway 9B, in the Bartram Park neighborhood southeast of Jacksonville. Bartram Park is a premiere new neighborhood called Jacksonville’s Southern Gateway. It spans 5,000 acres and upon completion will feature 9,700 residential units, nearly two million feet of commercial space, and over 300 hotel rooms.

The development is within walking distance of Durbin Park, which is a major retail and market center in southern Duval County. It is 25 minutes from downtown Jacksonville.

The property has great access to the Pavilion at Durbin Park, a two-phase project that stretches over 1,600 acres. When complete, it will contain a 42.5-acre hospital and wellness center campus, three hotels and an event lawn. Less than a mile away is the Flagler Center, a 1,022-acre office park featuring 1.4 million square feet of Class-A office and industrial space. The Flagler Center employs over 8,000 people. Residents also will have great access to shopping and entertainment, as well as the convenience of its proximity to the I-95, I-295, and 9B highways.

Additional development partners including the general contractor, architect and engineering firm include team include RISE General Contractors, Charlan Brock Architects and ETM, respectively.
