Description:

Following a nationally competitive RFP process, App State selected RISE as their P3 partner to
implement a complete housing transformation through a multi-phased approach to replace all of the
traditional dorm housing on their campus with 2,300+ new suite-style beds by Fall 2022. Extensive
living-learning programming to support and enhance ASU’s industry leading freshmen retention rate
was implemented.

Raven Rocks and Thunder Hill Halls (Phase I) included a 477-space parking deck; two residence halls
totaling 912 beds and 240,568 SF delivered on-time and on-budget for Fall 2020 amid the COVID-19
pandemic; included a $4.5M campus steam infrastructure project.

Laurel Creek Hall (Phase II) included a 638-bed, 155,000 SF residence hall; and the demolition of one, old
campusresidence hall.

New River Hall (Phase III) included a753-bed, 204,492 SF residence hall; and the abatement and
demolition of four remaining campus residence halls.
