The RISE Team selected in February 2009 by the University of North Georgia for a multi-phased project that included on-campus housing, dining, parking, and retail. Phased deliveries occurred in August 2010, August 2011, December 2011 and August 2012; each on-time and on-budget. The student housing component delivered 1,534 new beds and 166 renovated beds to the Dahlonega campus. The project also included a 1,080-space parking deck, a 1,215-seat dining hall, and 86,000 SF of dining and retail space.

Housing includes suite-style living for civilian students as well as residence halls specifically designed for the organizational structure of the Corp of Cadets. The campus retail facility (Chestatee Building) houses the campus book store, Starbucks, Student Health Center, Auxiliary Services offices as well as market-rate retail and office space.
