RISE: A Real Estate Company proudly announces the appointment of Cameron Hooper as Senior Vice President of Development, bringing with him over a decade of experience in real estate investment, development, and finance.
A proven leader in multifamily and mixed-use projects across the Southeast, Hooper has built a reputation for driving exceptional results through strategic vision, disciplined financial analysis, and deep market insight. In his new role, he will oversee development strategy and execution for RISE’s growing portfolio, advancing the company’s mission to create meaningful communities that elevate the resident experience and deliver long-term value for investors and partners.
Hooper joins RISE following senior leadership roles in both investment sales and development. Over the past five years, he guided multifamily investment activity throughout Florida and the Southeast, closing more than 4,000 developable units. His background also includes experience in development finance, where he worked closely with lending institutions and private equity groups to structure and capitalize large-scale residential projects for a regional developer.
Before transitioning to real estate development, Hooper began his career in the financial sector with firms including Morgan Stanley and Janney Montgomery Scott, managing portfolios for high-net-worth and institutional clients. This foundation in finance continues to shape his analytical and strategic approach to development that focuses on investor returns.
A graduate of Coastal Carolina University, Hooper earned both his MBA and Bachelor’s in Business Marketing, graduating with honors. A former Division I golfer, he was named an NCAA All-American Scholar and co-captained his college team alongside world #1 Dustin Johnson.
Deeply committed to his community, Hooper serves on several boards, including the Downtown Investment Authority of Jacksonville, Patriot Services Group, and College Golf Fellowship. He resides in Jacksonville with his wife, Holly, their daughter, Noa, and their two rescue dogs, Chad and Todd.
“Cameron brings an incredible balance of financial insight, development experience, and leadership,” said Greg Blais, President, RISE. “His vision and energy align perfectly with RISE’s commitment to purposeful growth and creating places people are proud to call home.”
