Jacksonville, FL — October 15, 2025 — RISE: A Real Estate Company is pleased to announce the addition of Eric Heninger as Vice President of Asset Management. Heninger brings more than 20 years of experience in multifamily and student housing operations, finance, and asset management to the RISE team.
Heninger comes to RISE following a 13-year tenure with The Collier Companies (TCC) in Gainesville, Florida, where he led finance and asset management functions across a diverse housing portfolio and was directly responsible for the completion of over $2.5 billion in financing. His extensive background also includes roles as an investment banker with Legg Mason and Northmarq Capital, and as part of the real estate capital division of BB&T, where he specialized in multifamily and entity-level investments.
In addition to his industry experience, Heninger has recently served as an adjunct professor at the University of North Florida, teaching courses in finance, real estate investment, and leadership. He holds an MBA in Finance and Real Estate from the University of Florida and a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from Appalachian State University in Boone, North Carolina.
In his new role at RISE, Heninger’s initial priorities include strengthening the company’s asset management framework, supporting lender and partner reporting, and exploring opportunities for enhanced financial performance. “My short-term goals are to get to know the RISE team, understand our collective objectives, and identify ways to improve efficiencies and outcomes across our assets,” said Heninger. “I’m also eager to begin building a capital-event-driven asset management function.”
Heninger’s enthusiasm, financial acumen, and industry insight make him a welcomed addition to the RISE leadership team as the company continues to grow its portfolio and strengthen its operational excellence.
